PRESS: HiFi Club Brings Back the Nightclub Scene to Osborne Village Winnipeg MB, April 22, 2008 - The newest addition to Osborne Village nightlife, Hifi Club, will be heating up the spring weather this coming month with its Grand Opening Event on May 9, 2008. Located in the central hub of Osborne Village at 103 Osborne, 2nd floor (Above American Apparel), HiFi Club is sure to draw crowds with its unpretentious environment, innovative concept and versatile D.j line up. "We are very excited to officially open our doors after so many months of preparation," says Aaron Faybush, owner of both HiFi Club and its sister establishment,Noir Wine Bar and Eatery. "I'm confident that those who live, work, or play in Osborne Village will love having a new and exciting nightclub option where they can have a few drinks, enjoy some great music and spend time with friends in a fun atmosphere." The generously sized 4000 square foot location has a 200 person capacity as well as 2 full service bars and a 100 person dance floor. The rock and b-boy inspired interior, creatively designed by Think Design Inc., features eye catching murals and street art by local artist Pat Lazo, as well as bright colours and a unique lighting systems that stimulate the senses from every angle. HiFi Club will be open Thursday through Saturday from 8pm-2am. The club will showcase some of Winnipeg and Canada's hottest D.j's with promotional nights such as: RISKY BIZ THURSDAYS with D.J Mike B The original Indie Night D.J will be kickin' it old school with Mashups, Rock and Funk from the 80s and 90s STIR FRI FRIDAYS with D.J Dow Jones and Weekly Surprise Guest D.J 4 Turntables, 2 D.J's and a nice HiFi Stir Fri of Old School, B-More, Hip Hop, House, Funk and Live Mashups. SUPREME SATURDAY'S with D.J Dougie B The original White Tee's and Stunna's D.J will be spinning at HiFi on Saturday nights with a supreme mix of B-More, Electro, Dance, Club, Remixes, Party and House. The grand opening program will feature D.J Dow Jones and D.J TWENTYTWENTY spinning on four turntables. To top off the entertainment, there will be drink specials, snack specials, and a pumped up team of staff; the perfect mixture for a great night! HiFi Club can be rented out for private parties and events Sunday to Wednesday.
